We are launching a campaign to change the law so that any satellite subscriber can get access to tv stations outside their local market. RV owners and commercial truck drivers can even receive network signals via satellite dish under a provision in the Satellite Home Viewer Act. However, boat owners are still ineligible to receive distant network signals. Why? Because broadcasters beat back earlier attempts to include marine vessels arguing that it was just a way for consumers to get around the distant signal restrictions. Read More>>
